Classic Two piece waist seal

Hey all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to obtain (or know any fabricators who can make) the old style 2 piece waist seal?

Here's a picture of mine:

I can't find a decent picture showing the later waist seals but they are a single piece and don't have that extra bit on top.. I'd like to keep mine looking original

Thanks that's really useful - looks like I'll have to see if I can get them fabricated or find some good condition ones of a rrc being broken..

A man after my own heart - good luck in your search. Probably a silly question but have you tried LR themselves ?

I haven't - I've got a few 'RR specialists' looking for me though, I think I will try and modify the one piece with a rubber strip on top and try and get them the same

Maybe I should just settle for the one piece, been looking at old pics I took at different LR shows and all the restored classics seem to have the single piece seals..
