i was talking to a kid at the pub beer garden yesterday he had a TVR that sounded amazing when under full throtle.
during the conversation he said they run on the same rover v8 as the range rover and its the exhaust that makes it sound like that.
what im wondering is there anyone that makes an exhaust that fits a p38 but sounds like the tvr engine?

My 101" has a Rimmer Stainless sports exhaust (previous owner choice).

Mrs MW says it sounds very like my father in laws TVR. So much so that she only knows it's me on the way, when the TVR would already have arrived!

Janspeed do a stainless system that sounds nice but nowhere near as loud as a TVR. The TVR can be OK for a bit of fun but can get a bit wearing on the motorway after a while. I have the Jamspeed fitted. You have to cut out the rear valance slightly so the exhaust comes 'through' the valance trather than just poking out from under it. Makes it look much more original rather than after market. Highly recommended.

Depends on the Tvr I believe some have a flat plane crank and you'll never get and old rover to sound like that. Your best option is to go to a powerflow dealer and they will tune it to your exact requirements.

second that........that my plan aswell.......when it stops raping me for repairs at MOT time:D:rolleyes:

Think you'll find that TVR used to make the exhaust to produce the sound that they wanted.

If you use twin pipes right through with the straight through boxes at the back then it should sound lovely.
