He won't need help Gary. He'll just dream up a solution to any future problems.

I was thinking he must be related to the "Think before u post" guy. He came on here telling everyone to think before posting duff information about the Freelander's manual adjusting, auto brake adjusters.
He tells everyone that the Freelander has manual adjusters because he had to manually adjust his. Then he posted a photo that clearly shows the auto adjuster in the wrong side, so it obviously won't auto adjust.
Sadly Blue Beastie moved that thread to the Anything goes section.
I'm sure these two muppets are related though.

I didn't think it is too bad. Not bad enough to warrant moving it to the Anything goes section. That's death to a thread, once the Vultures get to it.
At least it won't be cluttering up the Freelander forum with something completely inaccurate and pointless I suppose.
 
it's suprising with some people's attitudes

u wouldn't go up to a stranger, butt in and just start asking questions , without at least saying hi i'm , ------- and so on

some people just seem to think everyone owes them something , or need an answer quick time

it's the big heads that claim to know everything and just can't think of saying there wrong

i think on this forum it's great to learn new things , a collective amount of great knowledge to be had

just can't abide bad manners , like someone coming along demanding a question and then when they get one don't accept the answer

good thing about s collective forum is the masssive amount of knowledge and experiance , being the whole point of a forum

but sadly there are some who can't join in and just think of me, me , me :D

Unfortunately Gary there is a mindset in certain aspects of society - mainly from people who have never known anything but the empty-net. :(
They believe that everything is 'free' and indeed, they are ENTITLED to it be it music, films, even 'STATE BENEFITS THROUGH A NON WORKING LIFESTYLES CHOICE' etc......
They EXPECT to come here, post once or twice asking for information and bu&&ering off again. It is their RIGHT (in their tiny minds) - it is not 'real people' - it is just another poxy disposable web site to be used and abused. If they need to come back for more information - and it IS purely information to them - it is NOT 'real people' 'helping'.- then they just use another disposable address and stupid username.

They are not only clueless - many are literally (actually) stupid ! - they can ONLY add numbers together and do simple primary school arithmetic with the aid of a calculator.
They cannot recite their multiplication tables even. If they haven't got their so called 'smart phone' glued to their hand as they aimlessly walk head down and unaware of the world they are incapable of functioning at even a base level. They do not even know how to hold a conversation FFS !! unless it is on some 'social engineering site' - oops - I meant 'social' networking (faecesbook or tw&tter etc). Some even believe that they really do have hundreds of 'friends' LMFAO !!- they do not BEGIN to understand the differences between friendship and acquaintances or numpties added to their faeces book 'page' in an effort to 'collect' them as a means of boosting their ego as they would little picture cards from typhoo tea:(. It is actually creating a generation or generations with a form of pseudo Asperger's syndrome ... deluded is not even scratching the surface.
Using that so called 'smart' phone - EVERYTHING they can access is FREE to them and is absolutely theirs to abuse - . It IS their ABSOLUTE RIGHT.
I am honoured NOT to a part of that generation with that attitude - which is unfortunately - imo - a VERY large percentage. :(

I am staggered by the amount of people on other websites who cannot even be bothered to read their owners manual.
Any problem whatsover, post it in FB and ask for an answer, and then going by some of the stupid answers they receive , some of them are gullible enough to accept any answer as the truth. Gotta love them.

nice when u get new members come along and will always help anyone who actually says please and thks

good old fashioned manners goes along way in my book as i imagine it does with u guys

with many of us been here 5 x years plus seen many come and go, some with the x factor in entertainment

I only have a TD4 because I like autos and don't own an oil refinery to fuel the V6.
If was to prefer a manual, I'd have a K series;)

same with me having a td4 auto, must admit it's a great motor to drive ,

put it through its paces at the lz12 event and think other members were pleasantly suprised in how well they do off road , maybe even changing some members views on them
 
I only have 2 TD4's because my Mrs was stupid enough to prefer the TD4 over my old beloved K series. :(
The second is a toy for me, I wanted the youngest car I could get for small money but also wanted the better brakes of the post 01 cars.
