Hey guys hope all well.

I have been wandering two things;

how do i make my car heating hotter? It's warm atm when on full heat but i'd like to make it blow hotter air out? is this possible?

Also;

Is there a way to turn the boost up on the turbo buy simply turning a screw? I've got blanked egr, de cat etc so far. (L reg 300tdi)

All the best

Milo

you can adjust the boost by altering the length of the actuator length, but you will need a boost gauge to know what your pushing, not sure how far you can go before you need to adjust the fueling aswell. Also there maybe a thermostat for sale that allows the engine to run hotter ie opening at a higher temp. Not sure i would want to do either really thou if its running well leave it alone

If you look through the frosts respiration website, there's a thing called stay cool, which makes the heater work a lot hotter, I've got some in my 200 tdi range rover, it warms up quicker, and the heater is really good on full blast.

Hi Milo, when working correctly the TDi 300 heating system is very good so it sounds like yours needs some work.

The first thing I would do is:

1. Give the heater matrix a good flush out. There are pipes on the rear end of the engine - connect a hosepipe onto one of them and flush it out.

2. Then flush the engine block itself;

3. Replace the thermostat for new one;

4. Refill with new coolant and bleed the system.
