Hi guys, here I go again, mine RR 2003 TD6 at 189000km lost the power. The sound is like a strong wind but does not accelerate with power. No fault signs. Oil + filters changed in geare box as well as in engine. If the turbo has died, wouldn't be there a fault sign? Thx

Hi check all turbo hose for splits loose hose clips , not all visible signs.

The sound of strong wind is the clue
As above, there is a pipe entering the intercooler lower front left of vehicle when looking at it that can pop off but any of the pipes can split as already mentioned but may not be visible without pressure

Thanks a lot for your help. Just want to share with you experience. After having checked the pipes by mechanic with negative result of finding the cause of problem, he suggested to runt the car with manual gear set max 2 on the road. So I went off from service, heading to nearist petrol station on manual gear set 2 speed level and than I put automat again. Still was week. BUT after filling tank with fuel, stopping the engine at the petrol station IT WAS OK every since. (same night I drew 350km still ok). The power is back :) the turbo works (let's see for how long ;) have a lovely day!
