Good evening all.

Long time reader, first time poster. like many others "I've got a problem with my RR". She is a 2007 RR vouge, 3.6 diesel V8, 93'000 miles, I'm the second owner and up until today she was immaculate both inside and out.

So anyway, my problem.... On the way to work this morning, my usual drive, I had no issues. I stopped to get fuel about half way and following that I had barely covered 10 miles and I completely lost power. I have no warning lights, no loud noises, no bangs or clanks, nothing, just a loss of power. Down hill she will still go 50/60, uphill I'm limited to about 30. I can hear the turbo kick in and the engine sounds like it normally does, that sound isn't transfering to power though so I'm a bit baffled as to what it could be.

My misses followed me home tonight and about half way it started bellowing out smoke from the exhaust, this stopped and started intermittently for the 30min drive home.

I have got her booked in for diagnostics but they can't see me until next week so I thought I would ask you friendly bunch if you had any ideas as to what they might be about to tell me? Has anyone had a similar problem?

If it's blowing a lot of smoke, I'd not use it until the turbos have been checked. Unfortunately these engines suffer premature turbo failure.
Hi Nodge68, thanks for the reply, she will be parked up and staying where she is now until I have to drive it back to the garage on Wednesday. It's 15miles so I'm going to have to just take it as slow as I can.
