A friend has a split in his TDI200 turbo hoses.
He has bought a set of Silicone hoses to replace the damaged ones (you know these flashy blue things).

Anyway there are only 3 pipes in the new Silicone kit and 4 pipes in the original configuration.

I presume that the longer blue pipe is cut in two to create the original 2x 45 degree pipes on the lower turbo pipe???
I don't want to cut his nice new pipes and realise I've got it all wrong!

Any thoughts???

P.S - Picture attached is NOT our pipes, it was downloaded off the web as a guide, the picture contains 3 original pipes and 3 new pipes. Our TDI200 has 4 pipes (not a long one basically)

i bet the top left one is wrong, assuming the re-use of the metal hose piece

i doubt that they'd go to all the trouble of making such nice hose and then expect you to chop one in half

Hello,
I'm new on this forum and I have a turbo hose problem as well.
Looking on ebay for a hose kit for my TD5 I found an offer for a 300/200 TDI that looks like in my attachement. The one in your picture seems to be what I need for my TD5.

I have a question for any member that changed the hoses on a TD5-the hose that goes from the exit of the turbo towards intercooler is 135 or 90 degrees angle, as I'm a little far from UK(where is easy to find a proper kit) and want to adapt a silicone hose.
Thank you!
