I love Kerry. Spent a great few days over the years taking visitors from across the water round the Ring of Kerry..highly reccomended.
Have taken the Pikey wagon down to West Cork (Adrigole), site is next to a pub which is handy:beer2: and the Tim Healey Pass is just up the road. Just wish that the hotels and caravan site owners got real with their prices.
Bad news regarding Irish Medics motor, just hope he gets sorted quickly and gets it fixed. Can do without that ****e.
Back to basics and important stuff...what's the average price of unleaded in the UK guys and gals, it's around €1.26 over here and I am obviously looking at the wallet before I decide whether to fill up to the brim over here or just half way until I get to the all night garage at Bangor. A full 100 litres knocks a hole in the wad!! In the good old days it was around 20% cheaper over here and a case of filling up to the brim in Dublin and arriving at Holyhead on the way back with about half a gallon in the tank!! I've got the feeling it's gone the other way now.

I love Kerry and West Cork too, but Clare is my favourite, out in the Burren. The go-go juice round here (down south), is anywhere between £1.09 and £1.20, not sure about further north. Either way I reckon the exchange rate still makes it cheaper for you to top up at home.

Thanks for that KD.
Yeah the Burren is nice...some good greenlaning tracks with fabulous views also. Have stopped in Doolin a few times, Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher, but I think they have ruined the Cliffs with the new visitor centre and coach parks, just a money making machine now. If it's cliffs you want then Slieve League outside Killybegs in Donegal are the icing on the cake they dwarf Moher.

john i'll give you a ring on yer house nember on the 5th, then you can look at my srs/airbag light!!!
