trip computer

hi guys my trip computer is not working on my 1999 p38 is this a hard one to do if it is i want bother nothing on stalk at all
anyone got any ideas cheers

It is a function that can be switched on or off in the BeCM depending on market and model....

Find a kind soul with a full fat diagnostic device to take a gander at the settings for you...

Mine should work and has done briefly previously, but now it just sits there and reads 999 on the range and 99.9mpg (I wish!!)

I had fun and games with the display when I re-fitted the instrument pack but hadn't plugged one of the plugs in fully. For 4 screws (I think) and a bit of fiddling it might be worth a nose.

Was this ever sorted? mine is the same,just bought it so dont know if it ever worked, but niether the speed alarm button or the I information button on the left stalk work at all? help.....?

Anybody any more info on this? its really bugging me....
