I have read a load of threads on rear seats for a 90,
I would like to be able to carry my 2 kids in the back, both of them under 6,
and have decided that the way forward is transit seats, with the built in belts.

does anyone have any pictures of transit seats in the back of a 90?

What are you going to fix the seats too ?

Wont they be really tall ? Its not the most spacious of areas anyway

How will you get the kids in if the seats are front facing - which for the love of god i hope they will be if your puttting young kids in child seats in .....

They will be front facing, I will be looking to buy some minibus seats, so one part will be bolted through the wheel arch and the 2 legs can be bolted to rails on the floor. All fixing will be strengthened, thus leaving a gap in the middle, so the kiddywinks can fit through. i have asked one of the sellers on ebay for heights and widths to see if this is possible,

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace = these are the ones i am looking at.

I would have to cut the 3rd leg off and weld a plate on the bottom, but the main anchor would be the 2 other legs that bolt to the floor.

you will be fine with thoes mate

thats how i started for my kids . i wished i had fixed sum uni strut to the floor and fixed the seats to that with zebbidee nuts so they were easy to remove

because when there in a 90 theres not much room left in back.

they now have reclining recaro bucket seats with 3 point harnesses jump in and buckel them selves in.

£20 for the pair, the sub frames are going to need some work.

But they fit, and will have enough room to get an adult between them.
