I have a LT230 Transfer box but I have no idea of the ratio. I have found the serial number but it does not match up with any of the serial number lists I have found on the net. The number is 50098, that's it. From the research I have done it should start with 2 numbers then the letter D. Mine has no letters (no the second '0' is not a D). The sticker which normally shows the ratio has been partially removed only a small section of red and white stripe remains.
Anyone know the ratio of this box or how I'd find out?
Why has this got such a short Serial number?
What vehicle is this off?
Thanks in advance.

if you remove the pto cover and look at intermediate gear , if the 2 larger gear sets are the same height then its a 1.2, if the center gear set is half a tooth taller its a1.4 ,if a full tooth a 1.6
