I called a LR specialist garage for leak from output seal of my D2 t-box. He told me the fault flange could cause leak too. I think if seal is ok, the flange is unlikely to get oil leaking unless it is cracked. Has anyone had flange leaking? or any idea?

front or rear, front flange seal contact surface is prone to be pitted/grooved meaning a new seal may not seal perfectly or not for long, rear generally doesnt

Wear of seal over time but for the cost why just replace the seal.
I did my 110 seals and flanges and it was cured fron leaking for the entire time I owned it.

I decide to change it myself. I am not sure what size of spanner to hold flange bolts, undo flange nuts using 9/16" socket? I tried a 13" spanner, it is slightly smaller
