transfer box fookd

mines a 200tdi,will any disco transfer box fit (eg a 300tdi)? or does it have to b the right one? garage by mine have a gear and transfer box together but dunno wot year its off, how can i tel??

I cant say for sure si, but i do have a 200 transfer box avail. as far as i am aware i "think" 300 200 transfer boxs are the same????

have heard of people putting 300 trannies and gearboxes into 200s? the gearbox is different isn't it, someone said they are slightly stronger.

sopposed to be but i feel there not as tough, they just feel to roverish for me personally but you can bolt an r380 to a 200 block.

hiya si, i could tell a gearbox apart but not the transfer but as mention i think there the same transfer box wise.
