I'm replacing the trailing links complete on my 2005 TD4 auto. I'd like to do the job properly so I am hopeful that I can do the hub bushes too. There seems to be very little about them on the forum and I was wondering if many people had done them, and without the LR tool? Any tips or pointers, or pitfalls to watch out for? Rave seems to make it seem a doddle but these kind of jobs never seem to go as easily as hoped.

With the correct LR tools. The job would be easier than without. There are some "universal" bush removal sets available, which "might" do what you need. Although the LR tool would be the best way to go.

I need to change mine for the MOT in September, along with all the other bushes on the rear.
