Have done it with a large HT bolt and spacers,run a flap wheel to clean up the eye of the rod before fitting new lubricated bush.

If you've got access to a press, Use It, I bought one and wouldn't want to go back to the old method now.
What "weight" press did you go for?

20T Way over the top to be honest, But you never know what jobs you're going to do in the future.
Most came out at about 6-7 ton.

sort of, I used a large set screw, I also put the bushes in the freezer the night before, and heated the trailing arm with a heat gun, copper grease and in they went (relatively) easily.
The ****ing tour de **** is coming throughs Huddersfield this weekend and my road and seemingly every ####ing road is shut, I was gonna stock up on porn and mars bars and do the bushes.
Hence access to a press will be difficult.
I think I'll just leave it this weekend I'll probably just pelt cyclists with eggs instead
