2001 P 38. No lights on dash board. Had the tracking checked and adjusted after fitting a new track rod. On leaving the work shop both TC light and ABS lights on, traction control fault on the display. Has anybody had these faults appear after tracking adjustment it was a long way out.

I'm no expert on this but sounds like they disturbed a wheel sensor and/or its cable
Diagnostics should tell you if it doesn't look obvious

The sensors are the most likely suspects, but I have had issues where the alternator was failing to charge properly and bringing up those errors due to low battery volts after drawing the starting current.
The "tell-tale" that the alternator was failing was also the sudden "Zero RPM" on the dash gauge with the engine still running.

Tracking adjustment should have no effect on the ABS sensors, but if it was lifted with wheels hanging it might have stretched a cable for example

Well I know its been a while but I feel I should share the story about the day I had a new wheel bearing hub fitted by a garage in Bingham. We were on a touring holiday and this was the day we had to move on to a new site.
Picked up the car job all done, however informed abs light is now on?!?!. As we were on holiday an had to change sites that day I elected to take the car and rectify ABS sensor on my return home in Crawley Sussex.
On arriving home, three weeks after arriving home, planning time, got the wheel off the ground slid under to have a look. SHOCK!!!, The garage in Bingham had manage to fit a near side wheel bearing hub to the off side wheel. so the abs sensor is now located to the rear of the bearing and no where near the its locating hole.
Garage informed, photo's sent. After some strange noises and groans, blame was put on supplier ( Rimmer Bros ) for sending the wrong part.
The fitter, I presume was blind and having a bad day not to notice the abs holes did not line up as he fitted the near side wheel bearing hub to the off side of my car, when the abs light would not go away he still failed to notice that the abs sensor was fitted incorrectly, only half way in.(the holes were not lined up, 90 degrees out).
The fix was that the garage supplied me with a new wheel bearing from Rimmer Bros and returned all my money (the garage bill). I had to remove the incorrect part and fit the new one. the abs sensor had to be replaced as it had some damage????? (caused I guess by the Blind Fitter's hammer trying to get it into a hole which was not there).
I returned the wheel bearing hub to the garage as felt it was now damaged plus Rimmer Bros wanted it returned.
JUST THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET AN ENDDING TO A THREAD.

Sensor was acting up before the bearing changed? So maybe just a duff sensor? Although often a worn bearing shows as ABS fault.
