Track rod end and drag link joint the same part?

Hi guys.

Finally getting around to sorting my rather wayward steering. I need to replace both track rod ends plus the drag link joint (wheel end). Are all 3 the same?

No, there are two different threads (LH & RH) so you require one two of one and one of the other (can't remember which is which off hand).

Left and right handed for the track rod ends

2 x rtc5869 (left hand) and 1 x rtc5870 (right hand)

Yup 2 left and one right hand. Get a ball joint splitter as my drag link one was completely solid and I struggled to get it out.

Mine was two RH and one LH

I got a kit that has two left and two right so fingers crossed

...and I got new door rubbers. And a snow cowl ready for snowmageddon. Plus new injector washers and O rings. Aaaaaand rocker gasket for a tiny oil leak. Oooh Oooh, new hankook battery too

This will be a fun Sunday.
