everything has a safety envelope built in .... for example a lintol for a window or a door has a specific loading -max stated by the maker but that figure will only be for a test to about 50% of its absolute loading so if landrover state publicly to 3,500 kilo does any one think that total devastation is going to befall them if you load it to 3,600kilo i think not !!!:rolleyes:

gorra lr mag somewhere that as a full page dedicated to the discovery 200tdi's release...

the artical in question show's a disco hooked up towing a full carriage set from a inter****ty 125 wivs passenger's no conversion's or modifications cept a set of track follower's..

can't remember the exact weight stated but put it one way it was well over the labled rate..

so i think an extra 100kgs or so wunt make a big difference..

bloat - pulling 5 ton in a vehicle rated for 3.5 is stupid and dangerous, if you'd ever seen the after effects of crashes and accidents involving over loaded vehicles i hope you'd soon change your attitude

Unfortunately it would appear that until you either get caught or do cause an accident that your going to have that same stupid attitude - no offence but i hope you see the error of your ways before you kill someone.
