he has had it stripped by a garage and they recon the liner has been fitted incorrectly and is a few thou low
I only want the multi point gas kit off it
will ebay the rest of it i think
so i have a 97 ,2 x 98's ,a 2000 v reg and a 2000 w reg
one of the 98's is the most pristine cherished p38's I have ever seen a real beaut

Dudes im still none the wiser.....

You say put the Auto selector in P

And the hi/lo in neutral.....

Mine looks like a 'H' configuration (high ratio being on the right hand side and then low range being on the left hand side)

I dont have a second hi/lo selector, or is there a secret one hiding somewhere lol

from what I have read it seems you stick a min 5 amp fuse in the empty fuse 11 on the driver seat switch the ignition on to position 2, wait for the message display to show "transfer neutral" switch ignition to position 1 and tow away leaving the gear select in park
I'll let you know if i make it back
if you don't hear from me you might find me on the news lol

Cheers Prius

Gman you make no sense, you say to put the gear selector between hi and low the rock about then put in park.....

If i put the gear selector between hi/lo then back to park the transferbox will go back to being engaged!?
