Tried it on a beach with a landboard and a suzuki jimny!

Was suppoised to be kite boarding but lack of wind ended play early!! Only 1 tip, dont fall over, it hurts!!! and if you do, let go of the tow rope or you will spread your face on the floor!!

yeah, done it with a plastic notice board, but it wernt up to the job tho , one tip , if yer feel yer self goin ffs let go, it dont seem fast when yer standing but when yer face is draggin on the floor it feels like 100mph more :D :D

i did it when i did an overland trip to morrocco, fell off at about 5 mile an hour and broke my elbow (didnt realise until i went to hospital 6 days later when i got back to england). Good laugh though

I seen it done bout 25 years ago, with Beetle bonnets behind 4x4's, over grass fields (no snow!) Was a truck show somewhere (memory's fading now), same year they debuted the Sky High Transit monster truck.

Yeah, we used to do it with sledges .. well, anything really!

We also used to do it behind the motorbikes ..

Many moons ago we used to tow a big old shovel behind a motorbike on the beach. You sat on the shovel blade and held on to the shaft of the handle. It was ****in scary as I remember it.

Heheh, we used to do the beach races at Mablethorpe .. Suzuki Katana engined sidecar .. hand-cut slicks on sand are not good ... ;)

got some piccys somewhere of eight of us being towed behind a hagglunds bv206 in Norway minus28 degrees and when one falls over its a right mess ,but bloody funny :blabla:

done it for a few days now rearlly good fun except we use a honda 500c quad and skis, and a water ski rope, good fun can turn and do jumps :) rearlly easy and rearlly good fun :)

Well we gave it a go today and I can highly recommend it :D Tis more like wakeboarding on water than snowboarding though...

Not the best vid in the world but you get the idea
