Towbar advice please

Hello just bought a Discovery 1 , a 96 V8 for towing . It doesn't have a towbar so I need to buy one but I assume I need the electrics as well . Whats the best type or brand and how much should I pay to get it fitted , I am in SE London/Kent area .

Most decent garages should be able to do that for you. I had to fit a towbar as part of my basic training. 1 to 2 hour job depending on complexity + price of towbar.

Id be looking at £150 to £200 to fit one. Unfortunalty im not anywhere near you and I know labour rates in your area aren't £25 an hour.
