Tow electrics inside tell tale?

Hi All.

ever since fitting my tow bar and electrics (OEM LR) the dashboard tell tale has next come on and no sounder either.

Is this something I need to 'turn on' within the BECM?

MOT tomorrow!

Yes, pretty sure you need to enable the trailer socket function in the BCM / LCM

I have looked in RAVE and it doesn't tell me to do anything and can't see anything with my RSW diag tool...
:-(

quick release the ball & leave it at home don't think it comes into mot then

RSW doesn't cover that sort of BCM programming.

I remember seeing it within the settings when checking mine with my faultmate

did exactly that and took the tow hitch off.

Not included in test. Passed..
