tow bar

am i right in thinking that there's the socket behind the right side boot trim for the aux towbar socket?
seen the fitting instructions for the trailer socket which is there.

Do you have an original LR Aux. socket ? If you do and it has a plug on the other end theres a good chance there is a socket somewhere for it.

I fitted a tow bar last weekend and there is another bigger socket plugged in to a blanked bracket it,s right in the corner , at first i thought this was the tow bar socket but that is tucked behind panel , the plug in question is about 15mm X 50mm and is a male fitting and has all black and thick wires (12) going to it . undo the panels clips and pull corner away and there it is

what if you don`t have the male connector to go into the female connector? I have just wires on my electric cable. 2nd hand towbar

Then you will have to connect each wire, best if you locate the socket behind the trim, then all your connections can be made in one place!
