Torque for 200tdi

Afternoon,

I only have a defender haynes manual, but have a disco 200tdi in my 110 - are the torque settings the same for the disco 200tdi? Or if they're different, please can someone advise.

Also, any recommendations on gauges to measure the 60 degree turn after ft/l, I have a cheapy from amazon that I used on a friend's 300tdi, but I wasn't 100% convinced with it

I think the head torque setting would be the same between LR & disco. Engines are the same except the turbos mounting.

@resto_d1 I know your doing some disco engine works, you got any figure for the bolts?

What are we talking? Headbolts? Laser do a good dial gauge attachment. You want a stubby socket for the back right bolt (if we talking headbolts) as you can’t fit an impact in

Rotate 1 flat of the head of the bolt =60 degs.

Sorry, should have specified, yes the head bolts - thanks I'll take a look at laser
