Disco 200tdi ladder frame

Evening all,

I'm struggling to find a definitive answer - I have a disco 200tdi and an lt77 gearbox (though I don't know if this was a defender or a disco one, if that matters).

Can the ladder frame be removed without taking the engine out?

Don't know but Disco box has a longer bellhousing by about 4 inches

The sump brace block? I think so.

Isn't there two bolts at the back you can't get to ?? been a while

Thanks both, I'll whip the sump off and take a look, though I might be too far gone anyway
