Aftermarket capillary temp gauge

Afternoon all,

I'm approaching the "cooling" stage of my disco 200tdi engine rebuild in my 110. I'm replacing a lot of the core cooling components, but I guess an element of paranoia is creeping in about the vague at best standard Defender temp gauge and the disco sender adaptor I've fitted.

So I'm looking for recommendations for any aftermarket capillary gauges that would fit on a disco 200tdi?

Capillary one off ebay, about 40 quid, excellent and very accurate.

I think mine are Durite, but they also do cheapies at 14 quid?

Ps might need an adaptor down at the stat housing.

Sorry no idea, I have both a disco and def 200 engines, Iirc one was a straight fit and other required adaptor, but this was probably over 10 yrs ago now, so I have forgotten!
