Top hose nightmare tdv8

Hi guys still no closer to solving the top hose pressuring on my tdv8 any more help would be very much appreciated thanks

I do not know the tdv8 but have you checked that there is no blockage in the radiator?

Hi if it's getting that hot it's blowing the hoses off , are the fans kicking in, are all belts at tension, check electric fans are coming on. hope this helps.

Yes fans all good belts all good when u take the return off the tank flows nice but when u rev it the is alot of air coming through

Hi Graham, I had problems with my L322 with cold heating, and expanding hose, get a big pop bottle cut bottom off put it in header tank make a good air tight seal fill with coolant start engine and keep topping bottle up if you have air it will push it out, the idea is to make the header tank night this removing air that's trapped, hope this helps. So that sounds like you have an air lock. With some cars, P38 and others, it is easier to get the air out if the front of the car is raised.
