Top 5 things to check when buying a Series 2a

Off to look at a very nice looking Series 2 tomorrow but i need a top 5 things to make sure i check on before i part with the dosh (also its 100 miles away so would want to part with it there an then).

any ideas experienced types?

And substitute 90 for Series 2

Too helpful Mr Storm - i was thinking something more specific like the sproket nut on the off side wey bearing needs at least 3 8ths play or summit -

But i can go with the other recommendations - the missus is still in to dirty - its win:win

Look for the following.

1.Rust in the chassis
2 Rust in the bulkhead
3 Rust in the footwells
4 Rust in the rear x member
5 Rust in the doors

All the above very valid, check the leaf springs aren't seized solid (not a big problem to un-seize them just a pain in the backside), make sure it goes in and out of low/hi and 2wd/4wd properly, fluids dripping from diffs/engine/gearbox/anywhere else, and definitely check that the vin numbers marry up especially if its tax exempt!
