2001 DHSE

So today's fault!

The characters on the Hevac screen are broken up. Sometimes ok, but looks like its going. Unit is working fine otherwise. I purchased this replacement in back in May!

Anything to be done before I have to replace it again!!!!

Sure it's not just a faulty bulb for the backlight?

Hi Keith, some of the characters are lit! So guessing I am not going to be that lucky.

If its back light you would see nothing !

Here have a read worth a go ,if no success secondhand I'm affaid ,I know of new but they are expensive .

Mine did this missing bits of display thing recently after starting up following 2 weeks of not being used. I put it down to low volts, soon went back to normal the following day (so far so good)

Wouldent be owt to do with cold would it?
Wish mine was missing the bottom right
(Hand book symbol!)

The cold can play up with displays but a good drive and the heaters on would warm up the interior to solve if this was the cause .
