96 diesel manual.
So it turns out iv broken my front prop. Is she safe in 2wd for a few days?

Also my breaks threw a hissy fit.
After a start up and setting off (they had been fine all morning)
Pedal went hard and low and then the pump buzzed and buzzed then pedal came back to normal and threw on the abs fault again.
Is it linked any possible ideas? once faults sorted Is the abs self resetting or will it need garage to be plugged in again?

Buzzing from ABS unit on application of brakes usually means there is air present in the system.

Hopefully get away with a good bleed then.
Haven't checked fluid level or looked for leaks yet.
Left her parked up at my nans house and took the bmw till I can get the front prop off left all the spares for the black one in it (doh).
 
So asked my pal since hes off if he can shift the rangie slowly for me to our shed and get the front prop off for me.
Looks like my slave cylinder is weeping.
And sat in 3rd he lost throttle an orange light came on he let off and back on and it was fine. Uh oh
 
Abs pump kicks in every 3-4 presses.
Had a heap of dried mud around a front abs ring probs from where I borrowed trailer cleaned it abs fault gone.
Vcu is good so putting front prop failure down to the height of the vehicle and being dry and I didnt have a grease gun when I checked all the levels.
 
Went a drive. Smell of fuel.
Injector no4 soaking wet.
Found this. Hopefully this is my light issues

Took her a 20mile run no more light hot start takes a couple of turns but nothing out the blue.
Hope this helps another member I was assuming the worst.
Mabye my lucks back
 
Well shes been good new return lines and no more light front prop here Monday.
Shes back to being good old faithful haha
