Hi all, i have a 2001 4.6 V8 on gas with 88,000 on the clock and have had 2years trouble free motoring with the old girl. But alas she's giving up the ghost fast so here's a list of the problems 1 Blend motors need replacing 2 ABS ECU is knackerd 3 Air Con has lost all its coolant (not sure from where yet) 4 SRS Fault 5 Sunroof will tilt but not slide back Now i have a local independant Range Rover dealer who is a top bloke but crap at giving quotes so my question is does anyone think its worth throwing money at it (i have none anyway) or pass it on. The engine and body work are mint as is the interior and i'd be sorry to see it go but not sure if i can justify the cosy, what ever that may be. TIA Andy

I am not very supple at all ,after hanging upside down over the drivers seat I said feck it .Must admit it was a bit worrying as all the bits came out but the guide is very good shows every nut and bolt clip and spring ect.

Hi all, i have a 2001 4.6 V8 on gas with 88,000 (Thats almost new surely) on the clock and have had 2years trouble free motoring (Fooking miracle for any landrover) with the old girl. But alas she's giving up the ghost fast so here's a list of the problems 1 Blend motors need replacing What even are they, get over it ??? 2 ABS ECU is knackerd Like you are going to fast enough to even attempt a skid 3 Air Con has lost all its coolant (not sure from where yet) It's nearly autumn !! 4 SRS Fault Was you planning on crashing then and besides you are bigger than most things on the road ? 5 sunroof will tilt but not slide back - Ha ha ha - unless you are shooting rabbits out of it or escaping a flood i wouldn't worry about it.
Now i have a local independant Range Rover dealer who is a top bloke but crap at giving quotes so my question is does anyone think its worth throwing money at it (i have none anyway) or pass it on.
The engine and body work are mint (Thats a fuggin miracle in itself) as is the interior and i'd be sorry to see it go but not sure if i can justify the cost, what ever that may be. TIA Andy

I would say just drive it and stop looking for problems:)

Hi I would take my time and fix it just tackle one issue at a time,Two years trouble free for a Range Rover not bad you will only regret it if you sell as you say body / engine are mint you also know and enjoy the range rover so I would still carry on driving it
