tired of tyres

Hi all. I Want to get a set of new tyres for my td5 disco 2. I have 255 55 r18 Goodyear wrangler hp. Problem is i seem to keep writing tyres off due to punctures causedby screws nails etc entering the outer edge of the tread ( unavoidable as work sites). After deciding to change for a slightly more aggresive tread tyre, i decided on the General Grabber AT2, then the tyre dealer showed me some Insa Turbo Rangers with 15mm of tread. I know these are remolds (old bf goodridge pattern) but they seem good quality and have a good thickness and have the 109 load rating. My question is has anyone put them on these 18" rims on a disco 2 and ifso anycomments. Cheers in advance.

Beware that remoulds can sometimes be a pig to balance - especially when they've got significant tread depth.
I've got no experience with the Rangers though !
Might be worth asking the dealer what he'd do if he can't balance 1 of them.

Ive got the General Grabber AT in the same size, on my D2, I really rate them, had the previous AT2 as well before, really hard wearing long lasting tyres.
So pleased ive just fitted their GT on our VW Tiguan this week.
I would have gone for BFG AT only they dont do 255 55 18.
I would not hesitiate to recommend General Grabbers!
