Anyone tried to tighten the locking mechanism on the disco 2nd row seats?

I've given up trying to stop the water getting in so need something else to keep me busy :)

Mine rock back and forwards (when in the upright position) prolly 2-3" and make a right racket. Can the locking mechanism be adjusted to remove some of this slack?

Cheers.... Jim

Hi Jim

You don't say what Disco it is, but I am assuming that it is a series 2 - cause they all rattle. LR did a bulletin for this involving some additonal cams and glue!!! Only small parts so cost minimal. I have the bulletin on a word document, but it's over the size allowed to post here. If you send me a PM with your email address, I'll send it over. Have done mine and it does make a difference.

i trust by the upright position you mean stowed away.
if this is the case next to the green release lever should be a rubber bung.
if there isnt then this is one cause, if there is then remove it and turn it round the other way ie long end toward the side window.
i did this and it worked a treat.
apparently it is also the approved l/r cure, and that would have cost you .

Thanks for that both.
Swampy - PM sent.
Mat - thanks for the info, but I was referring to the 2nd row seats, in their normal position (not stowed). I'll check the dickie seats anyhow.
