ive just changes the ball joints on my tie bar and ive done what it says in the manual and took mesurements and there now the same with the new joints but you can still see that the track is way out what have i done wrong

I bent my steering bars whilst playing on Salisbury plain with the Herts guys last year. I replaced my standard steering bars with heavy duty ones. The actual bars were completely different lengths so I couldn't use the bent ones as a guide. I tracked it up by using my naked eye and a piece of string. The steering felt like I was driving on a knife edge though. When I took it to be lazer tracked it was only 1mm out. That 1mm made all the difference though. The guy couldn't believe I'd done it by sight. I am running on 265/75/16 Insa Turbo special tracks so I put the difference in handling down to the wider than standard tyre and the aggressive tread pattern. My advice to you would be to pay the £20 to get it tracked properly. 1mm makes a hell of a difference.
