hi guys just fitted new engine but she wants to tick over at around 2000 rpm anybody any ideas
its a 4.o v8 gems 1995,

air leak or you need trims resetting

Make sure there is free play on the throttle cable,then you need to check what the Gems ecu is seeing as a stored closed thottle postion - if the voltage with the throttle closed is more than the stored voltage you will need to have it reset with Testbook or similar.
