car felt like its towing an elephant. then i got flagged down by a passing motorist pointing under the car towards the back. stopped to have a look and to my surprise saw long tresses of dirty blond hair trailing from my exhaust. just for a split second i thought i'd run over a woman somewhere and the car had eaten her! then i started tugging it out and it came and came and never ended. started the car and revved it and it spat out big clumps about 15 feet and still more coming out so yanked again. did this several times and finally it stopped. only when i felt the glass fibre scratches on my hands was i convinced that this is the muffler stuffing used for sound insulation obviously blown out of the box. erm, time for new one? funny thing is car sounds normal and back to running normally too. how do i figure out which box?

i stoped a bloke the other week in an x5 because he had about 2 ft of blue nylon rope sticking out of his exhaust we puled it out and found about 10 to 15 ft up there
we checked the other pipe an same result he said it been running like a bag o **** past couple of days (i did point out it was a bemer he laughed
we put it down to greenies trying to bugger his car
