Loaded up the shopping, got into the car, key will not turn in the ignition. No amount wiggling helped. It has happened before but a quick wiggle freed it, not this time. Luckily wife had the spare key, with a bit of a wiggle that turned. Looks like the lock barrel pins are shot.
Dealer seems to think a new steering column is needed, they say the barrel cannot be removed which is not true as I have done it.
Looks like I'll be knocking the pins out so any flat bit of metal will turn the ignition on.
Never a dull moment.
