Theft-Proofing Defender TILT

After finally saving up enough money to fit ANOTHER (first one i had fitted was stolen after 5 days!!) Tilt to my 90, i was hoping you'all could be of some assistance in helping me ensure this one doesn't go walkies as well. I have already sort the assistance of a friend to weld the frame to my truck, admittedly i wasn't originally planning on this being a permanent feature however i cant afford to be throwing another huge chunk of my student loan down the ****ter.

My main concern is now the canvas tilt it's self. I am planning on spray painting my registration plate onto the canvas in an attempt to put people off, but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on how to secure the canvas.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to prevent someone taking if it they really want it bad. Maybe you could do something to the front where it mounts to the windscreen to prevent it being unclipped. Spraying your registration in big letters on the inside would probably help. "This hood is stolen from (insert reg)" in big letters on the inside. May make it harder for the thief to sell on.
