The waiting is killing me

Thought I had better find myself a good forum before the new toy arrives

I am waiting for delivery at the moment as the garage can't have it ready for tomorrow and thats the only day I can drive down to collect..........................................................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I started of wanting to spend a couple of k on ebay or in the trader but the wife got involved and now its more like 16k and a shed load of overtime for the next eleventy twelve years, she didnt want anything to old so we are getting a 2005 Defender 90 XS County Station Wagon in zematt silver.

A touch of overkill as all I want it for is to go shooting, she wants a brand new disco but can kill the inside of a car in about 8 seconds with the boy and the 2 working cocker spaniels, so a Defender it is.

The garage says its spotless, that wont last long as its coming with me into the woods the day we get it.

cant wait for it to arrive as i have many upgrades planned
anyway i am waffleing now due to the wine

Ha Ha Ha, "DO NOT TOUCH MY LANDY" I havent even touched it yet

Collected from Stockport yesterday and had a fun drive back
As I gather its the law, here's some pics of the new toy

Very nice and shiney.....I'll have the wheels of it when you break it

wont be shiney for long as new rifle comes on wed so it will be coming shooting on thursday

Always remember...shoot away from the car

go one better and shoot from in the car

to do this you will need

1 cam net big enough for the army to hide a tank
1 flask of coffee
1 ultra carbine rifle at 82cm total length
100 stupid pigeons

open rear sliding windows cover with cam net settle down with coffee and begin to harvest dinner

Don't forget empty 1.5ltr pop bottle for when nature calls...oh and choccy.

Heh, at my age and state of kidneys it's at least a 4 gallon container for waste, and about 3 gallons to drink ..

I take it you're talking about an air rifle ?

it's great when you finally have a vehicle capable of driving up the fields instead of walking the whole time, or hiding out in a hide, thats one of the reasons i got mine, but i haven't taken it shooting yet as i want to treat the underside before i take it offroad
