I am proposing a trip out starting in the centre of Rugby on a date to be discussed and agreed for a greenlaning trip around either Lutterworth, East Leicestershire towards Melton Mowbray or out towards Southam and Northamptonshire.

So over to you for interest and ideas.

There are some good lanes out morton pinkney way and a nice big ford. Between rugby and Coventry but can't remember exactly were... I will be up for thus as used to live around there

Is the ford your on about in little lawford? I did that the other day, Thera a big step off the road on one side?
Not much water in it at the time though just over half way up the wheels,

Did it in my brothers 90 last year in the winer. Had a lift on it and water was over the bonnet!

Most of the time it is. But was at the end of the cracking weather we had a couple of weeks ago. First time iv been able to see the bottom!

As long as I'm running by then (just waiting on a hand to lift the new engine in) I'll definitely be there!

Done Little Lawford last summer and was just over the wheels, can imagine its quite fun when the river goes nuts - always seen it flooding around the bridge by Bretford on the A428 anyway

If you ever need a hand give me a shout, I'm not really up to all that with cars but helped my brother out enough to know an extra set of hands is always usefull, but having said that im not someone who calls the RAC when i run out of washer fluid either! And I enjoy it aswell, nout better than getting your hands dirty!

Besides I want to get out and get my wheels dirty

For a man like you, Cheryl Cole.

Note to self: Always check, double check and verify what you post on a forum.

It would have to be said that a date with the geordie air head wouldn't last long,
But then I suppose who the hell would want to talk when there are so many other fun things to be doing. :D

Thanks for the offer mate!
Looks like I've got some assistance coming anyway in the form of my grandad who's dying to mess with engines again :D Just a major pain in the arse when both me and my mate in Cov who both have Landys both have knackered engines lol
