Some cops are just pratts. others go on info given to them. And some are ok.
Unlike the ones that stopped me a few weeks back for doing handbrake turns in sainsburys carpark. (info given to them)

Oh yeah I drive a 90 model Range rover.

update .....mr nasty policeman.. has now decided he is not going to impound the landy... wonder if his sooo very nice attitude has got anything to do with a complaint against him...apparently the vin number now looks ok to him, yipeee

Don't withdraw your complaint as above, let it be dealt with under Local Resolution thro Profesional Standards Dept.
You will never have any bother in the future, makes all pc's very wary in dealings with you.
I speak from experience :):);)

How do you do a handbrake turn in a RR without it going bang? Are classic handbrakes different to discos & fenders?

That's my point. You can't.Same set up I believe. Transmission brake. They were just going of info given to them. Probably by the snobby cow in the X5 I had a go at for parking in the disabled bay.

Glad the landy is still free,
From my experiance some coppers are dirty lying bbbbad word's
(had a copper tell total lies in court once, He laughed after i got sentenced (fine)and he said i got you ya wee fuuuuter) and i was inocent (that time) that was a long time ago and since then i have had a few dealings with coppers most were very helpfull and some are just arse holes, I use to do maintance work in police station's a few years ago some of them had the swagger and thought they were great but you get guys like that no matter where you work

My closest friend is a retired copper. A really sound bloke who took on the nastiest neighbourhood in town and became a respected member of the community down there as their local bobby. Even now... criminals will come up to him in the town centre and shake his hand and have a chat about the old days...

He used to feel my collar about all the untaxed vehicles outside the door. He's usually give me an hour to move them before he nicked me for it... but I decided to get even anyhow.

I married his daughter.

He got the last laugh though. She turned out to be the she bitch from hell and screwed me over for a lot of dough...

We're still friends though... he is definitely one of the good ones!
