Have a 2002 P38.
2 months agao heater on drivers side started to only blow hot air and heater on passenger side cold...no matter what reading was on the HEVAC LCD.
Hit a pheasant 3 weeks ago(hardish on front grill) and bingo suddenly fault symbol disappeared off HEVAC and all was working properly. Based on this set the temps down to LO on both sides in case it happened again and hoping it would stay on cold.
Started car this morning and back to old problem even though they were set on LO last night...i am confused?
Every body keeps saying blend motor why would they have reset to hot and cold?
Also which side is the blend motor on that needs sorting?..drivers or passenger?
Does it just need a gentle tap to get it working again (like pheasant hit?) or is it a loose connection under bonnet near grill?

Help would be really appreciated

Thanks

Lots of threads on this, try a search. You could try exercising the the temperatures up and down to see if it frees the blend motors off, if that is the problem. someone, eightinavee I think, came up with a fix for sticking blend flaps. Go and look at Range Rovers where you will find lots of info.
