Potentiometers, the bits that fail in the motors. They tell the ecu where the flap is in its travel

Sometimes the little leg solder points on the pots can become cracked where they enter into the circuit board. Resoldering can sometimes cure this. They are quite fragile really but have lasted this long I suppose.

One motor I bought second hand off the bay wouldn't work when fitted.
