Me and Disco924 are organising an event over the Bonfire Night Weekend, in the Llyn Peninsula in West Wales, and I wanted to extend the invite to non LandyWatch members, as it isnt an exclusive event.

The weekend will be the Bonfire Night weekend, Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th.

Camping will be just outside Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales.

The campsite can accept caravans and tents. All include electric hookup if required.

Prices for the weekend are £50 for caravans and £30 for tents for the 3 nights.

The main attraction will be the night rally, running on the Saturday night from Midnight to 6AM, which will be split into 3 timed stages. There will be trophies and prizes for First, Second and Third.
The council and the police are on board with us running this event and will be assisting us where neccessary.

During the day on the Saturday and Sunday we will be running laning trips.

Saturday evening we will be having a BBQ, Bonfire and Fireworks, and a camp fire on the Friday and Sunday evenings to keep us warm.

The weekend will be a take the form of a social event, and a good chance to meet and chat. We are hoping to make the this a yearly event.

If people are not wanting to actually take part in the night rally, then we will need marshals for the event, and people to take the timings of the stages, so you can all be as involved as you like.

Any questions, please let me know, and I hope as many as possible of you can make it as it should be an excellent weekend.

Everyone is welcome, family, better half's and kids are all welcome.

Rik - that sounds awesome... can you provide some more details on the night rally part? Is it individual or a team event? What kind of terrain are we talking about? Does the £50 include entry into the night rally? Are there any requirements of MSA membership / approved safety vehicles?

Hello!

The charges quoted are for your camping, so £30 for a tent for 3 nights, and £50 for a caravan for 3 nights.

There will be a small charge of around £10 to LandyWatch to cover any costs we incur, such as the trophies etc.

The only real requirements of the night rally are that your vehicle is road legal, taxed and insured as the rally will be part road based, and the police and council are closing the roads for us. There is no MSA requirements for the event.

It is a timed event, so is an individual event for each vehicle entering.

It is not a 'race' as such, but there will be prizes for the winners.

It will incorporate green lanes, roads, and private off road areas.

There will also be events during the Saturday and Sunday days, as well as bonfire, BBQ, fireworks etc.

Any more info please ask!

I still dont know for sure yet

The series is still in the workshop getting the engine changed

Well work harder then!

I'm going and my landy currently has no MOT and no brakes (including no brake pedal or pipes)

It would be good to have another Series there though, most people aren't mad enough
