YIIIPPPPPEEEEE,
Picked up my keys to the new (to me) P38.
This my 3rd P38 and 5th overall Rangie....
The previous P38's have been the 4.6's and this is a 2.5 DSE, but I still love the thing to death....will post pics when I get a mo.
Although you do have to get the thing spinning over 2200rpm before she will decide that moving at anything other than glacial speed is a good idea, but I can live with that if she returns the predicted 25-29 mpg on the runs to work, and maybe a little less when we are 'Playing'.
Have to ask though....the much mentioned 'Hot Start' issue....what would be considered a long cranking time, this beasty turns over for 3 maybe 4 seconds before she catches...is this a symptom of impending probability or is this pretty standard??
Right now going back out to look at her again, then go for another drive....that £120 quid in motion potion isn't going to last long if I keep taking it for short trips....but at the moment I don't care....SHE'S GREAT....
