Odd one to have and I can't find anything the same on the net anywhere. As soon as you type "Discovery" and "warning light" you get flooded with Amigo results

The TC, HDC , and both SLS (warning and top right that flashes) lights have stopped working. They don't come on at all including the self test when the ignition is switched on.

My first thought would be bulbs but it's odd for them all to go at the same time and am I right in saying the warning lights are LED's on the circuit board anyway?

Next thought would be SLABS ECU but as far as I can tell the systems are working normally. The suspension will go up and down fine (along with correct "bongs") and I can hear the TC shuttle valves going if I boot it on grass. Haven't checked the HDC yet but I'm willing to bet that's working too.

Any ideas guys?

was a nanocom plugged in lately? ...cos all those lights can be disabled with it and if it's an older version it used to make things on it's own... from what you wrote it seems that teh ABS light works on self test so there are no faults as long as it doesnt stay on

Nanocom (not my own) has been plugged in but im sure the lights worked afterwards.

Do you have instructions on where in Nanocom the option is so I can borrow it again and double check.

Yes abs light (and abs itself) works fine.

menu is Valeo BCU - INSTRUMENT PACK (settings)...there you find options to enable/disable the warnings
Nanocom user guide said:
INSTRUMENT PACK
· Transmission: This configures the instrument pack for either Automatic or Manual
vehicles, and then on the second choice, configure the BCU for either Automatic or
Manual.
· Engine: This sets the instrument pack for a Diesel or Petrol vehicle.
· ACE: This configures the instrument pack to indicate the ACE lamp during initial bulb
checking and during usage.
· SLS: This configures the instrument pack to indicate the SLS lamp during initial bulb
checking and during usage.

· Gulf: This setting is used to configure the instrument pack for Gulf operation. Its
operation on non Gulf specification instrument packs is unknown.
· Police: This setting is used to configure the instrument pack for Police force vehicles. Its
operation on non Police specification instrument packs is unknown.
· HDC: This configures the instrument pack to indicate the HDC lamps during initial bulb
checking and during usage.
· TRC: This configures the instrument pack to indicate the electronic traction control lamp
during initial bulb checking and during usage.

if they are enabled and still not working i'm affraid it's a problem within the instrument pack or BCU

Sierra saves the day again. :D

Borrowed Nanocom from a forum member (dandan cheers mate) and sure enough the settings in the instrument pack were all to cock. Everything off and also set to petrol!

Strange occurrence, definitely never been in that part of nanocom before.

Oh well, sorted now, it's nice when the fixes are free :D
