Well, we picked up the 90 (86 model) from the girlfriends dad, drove it the 200 miles home, and now the fun starts.

As I mentioned in my previous thread, the 2.5 n/a diesel's coming out and a V8 going in....which seems a shame as its not a bad engine for a 150k + lump, but needs must, now for all the questions :D

Its got a 5 speed LT77 long stick box in it (I think), should I keep this box? I've been reading about long bellhousings, short bellhousings, changing the shaft in the box, changing the box to an LT85 or a R380.....I don't know which way to go?? What would you chaps recommend.
I've got a rover V8 sitting in the garage,(3.5 n/a) but that came with a GM180 auto box, so, does a flywheel and clutch assembly bolt straight onto the crank or is there something I need to do with this??
That's it for now....no doubt there will be more as I dig deeper, thanks in advance for any advice which will be gratefully received,
