i tested my ignition leads my removing one by one while the engine is running, some were arcing out from a couple of inches away from the engine yet some i had to put the rubber sleeve right against the engine to arc out, does this sound as if some are giving me a stronger spark that others indicationg a problem with my ignition leads or the coil pack ?

Hiya mate
I'm having a misfire problem and when i read the rave stuff it said that you can damage teh coil pack if the charge doesn't get dispersed via the plug, I know you're arking out but just to be on the safe side mate.

I went to halfrauds and bought some natty little lazer lead testers for 8 squid and i've spotted teh weak spark straight off, have a pop at that. I'll be asking some questions about coil packs in a min
