Testing EKA Entry

Did you remove the Battery like you would any other car then replaced with new battery? And it started and no fob sync needed? Wow!!! can you send me next weeks Lottery numbers please. :D :D

Haha! Well I did have to use the EKA to start it up, but the fob sync'ed as soon as I put it in the ignition, and it did start first try yes.

The battery was dead before I started though so I knew I'd have to EKA her.

Lottery numbers are....

06, 11, 17, 22, 43, and 46.
 
+1 on the Alphaline battery - just fitted one today and makes a massive difference to ease of starting.

Don't know if it makes a difference, but I left a window open and my key in the ignition when I disconnected the battery... No EKA required on reconnecting. Fob needed re-synching before remote locking would work, but that's all.

When you disconnect battery petrol or diesel you slacken negative clamp but do not take it off. Put key in ignition and turn it on and off. Then disconnect battery within 17 seconds. Never take positive clamp off first.
