Temporary 2 Wheel Drive

Whilst I am waiting for my new front diff to arrive I really need to get back on the road so I was planning on removing the front prop shaft, whacking diff lock on and driving around 2 wheel drive for a while.

Can anyone point out any problems I may have overlooked in this simple plan?

no its a good plan ,unless loose parts are flying about in axle,

Drove mine like that for two weeks with no problems.

Have done this to find out which propshaft was giving me a wheel wobble, no problems, I was running it front wheel drive
